My head and heart hurts
the pain inflicted on my family and friends
the betrayal, the contempt, the shutting off
twice the burden upon my back
my head remains split and my heart still bleed
When did it start
How will it end
Why did i take the foolish first step of ignoring them
What can i do
Where are my debtors
The closure...my head is split for an answer
Who do I own
My heart points the way
I want to draw their hands to my heart
Seek their forgiveness
So my healing can start
But alas...
I need an answer first
An answer that will save me from contempt
An answer that will keep my head high
An answer that will sure to work
An answer to everything
My head remains split and my heart still bleeds
